This project improves semantic segmentation of off-road terrain using hyperspectral cameras and causal-inference techniques. We study how hyperspectral data can produce more accurate representations of off-road environments, particularly under challenging conditions. The project is supported by the U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center.
