Yongkai Wu
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas in 2020, under the supervision of Dr. Xintao Wu. I received my B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2014.
My research focuses on responsible and trustworthy artificial intelligence. I develop AI systems that are efficient and effective while remaining transparent, fair, and aligned with human values. My work connects theoretical methods with applications in healthcare, education, science, and engineering.
