Biography
Dr. Yongkai Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science supervised by Dr. Xintao Wu at the University of Arkansas in 2020. Prior to this, he completed his B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, China in 2014. Dr. Wu's research focuses on advancing machine learning, data mining, and artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on responsible AI and causal inference. His work has been published in leading conferences and journals, including AAAI, ICLR, IJCAI, KDD, NeurIPS, WWW, and TKDE. He actively contributes to the AI community as a program committee member for prestigious conferences such as AAAI, ICML, ICLR, IJCAI, KDD, and NeurIPS.
